That was a C-L-U-T-C-H BUZZER-BEATER by Sonia Citron to escape a laughable 4th-quarter Tempo comeback! After being up by double digits, the Mystics slowly lost ground to Toronto as Marina Mabrey tried her damn best to get her team into the game. Yet, it still wasn't enough, right down to the wire! Lauren Betts with 18 PTS helped the Mystics not lose this game, a very nice game from her. Michaela Onyenwere with another 17-PT game, alongside 8 REB. Shakira Austin with 11 REB and 12 PTS, and the bench, oh the bench, they came up big here for D.C.

I mean what else can say but CITRON!! Citron with the turnaround jumper!! Hell of a shot. The Tempo did all they could in the 4th, but Citron with the buzzer beater. What an amazing finish. The Mystic were shit from three, bit they made their free throws (22/26) and out rebounded the Tempo by 18. Fun game to watch.

Oh my goodness. Mystics were in control for most of the game, but when 4th quarter came tempo went on another magical comeback and took the lead…… for only a bit. With 2 seconds left, citron gets the ball from a jump ball and hits a TOUGH turnaround 2 buzzer beater for the game. Mystics played hard and really took it to tempo in the paint. Even tho they lost, i am REALLY impressed by the backbone they showed. Mabrey just went nuclear and they really zoned in on defense. If this is the identity when tempo are trailing i have NO problem but i would be happier if they dont dig themselves a hole early. Really entertaining game in the 4th made up for the other 3 quarters.

DONT CALL IT A COMEBACK!!! THIS IS THE TYPE OF GAME TO EARN A TEN. TORONTO LOOKING TO PLAY REVENGE AFTER THE MYSTICS TAKE THE FIRST ONE, BUT THEY FALL OUT OF IT FOR THE LONGEST TIME. BUT THAT SYKES AND MABERY DUO GIVES TORONTO THE LEAD, AND THEN BANG!!!™️ CITRON AT THE BUZZER OFF THE JUMPBALL AND WASHINGTON ESCAPES IT. should’ve never been a game, I actually tuned out after halftime but came back midway through the fourth. Whoopsies 😅😅
