WHAT A GAME WHAT A FINISH! NNEKA OGWUMIKE DRILLS THE BUZZER BEATER TO COMPLETE A 17 POINT COMEBACK FOR THE SPARKS!!!! The Liberty's offense was incredible as always but in the 4th quarter the Sparks was much better. They could not miss a three late in the game. The Liberty missed some crucial free throws late that could've iced the game but instead they left the door wide open for the Sparks and came to regret it. Incredible finish.

What an unbelievable game! The Sparks trialed by 17 points in the 3rd quarter and looked like they were out of it, but they didn’t quit! They brought it all the way back with 5 minutes to go in the game! It was blow-for-blow from there, but it would come down to a Nneka Ogwumike buzzer-beater 3 to stun the Liberty in a game celebrating the first WNBA game ever!

THE 9.7 IS FOR 1997! WHAT A GAME FOR THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE WNBA! NNEKA OGWUMIKE BUZZER BEATER AFTER THE SPARKS TRAILED BY AS MUCH AS 17! I would've thought the way the Liberty were aggressive and came out steaming hot would spoil the Sparks, but Los Angeles matched their efficiency at least, so I knew this would be close. A costly challenge by Roberts looked really bad, but they managed to drive down the court with less than ten seconds left and win the game to the home court! IT REMINDS ME WHY I LOVE THIS LEAGUE! LET'S GO SPARKS!

Nneka Ogwumike with an amazing three-point buzzer beater!! That was a clutch shot. What wasn’t clutch, was Breanna Stewart missing two free throws to put the game away. She really choked on the last miss with 9 seconds left. Guess it doesn’t matter that your free throw percentage is 87% when you miss with the game on the line. LA fought their way back from 17 to get the win at home. Ogwumike had a great game. Nice win by the Sparks.

Have not really watched as much WNBA as I've wanted too this past week, and that MIGHT be due to the world cup, but man was this an amazing game, with an even better finish. New York up by double digits early but the Sparks continued to chip away at that lead, even taking the lead for a short time, but the Liberty locked back in. As it looked like they were about to cruise to a victory, Stewie missed a free throw, no big deal, but the Sparks pulled back within one. Bad challenge from Lynne Roberts left them with no timeouts, they had to foul, they foul Stewie again... she MISSED the first free throw, but sank the second. Two to tie three to win it, and Ogwumike hits a BUZZER BEATER THREE. OH MY DAYS, THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY GAME ENDS LIKE THAT. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
