The Atlanta Hawks get a massive win that was much-needed in their race for the 5th seed mainly thanks to a CJ McCollum Hawks legacy game. In the first half, he was cooking the ever living hell out of the Cavs. He had 25 of Atlanta’s 61 first half points and had them buzzing at halftime with a 13-point lead. I truly believe that first half performance gave Atlanta all the momentum and allowed them to come out in the 2nd half still smoking. They ran away with the game in the 3rd quarter and it became a waiting game in the 4th. Unfortunately, this run of dominance meant CJ could put himself in cruise control and he didn’t even get 30 points in the game. 25 first half points and 4 second half points. Lame. Another game I wish had been closer, but the play was pretty enough to have some entertainment value, albeit almost all of that came in the first half. Dyson Daniels was also brilliant. Got a low key triple double while playing his typical brand of brilliant defense. Hawks are scorching
