Desmond Bane became the Bane of the Miami Heat’s existence. Certainly not what I expected at first. The Heat started this game with 13-0 run and ended the 1st quarter up 13. I thought that would be the earliest nail in the Magic’s coffin as the Magic had lost their 2nd and most important Wagner for this game. Then the Magic got hot at the right times and Desmond Bane was absolutely scorching at the start of the 4th quarter, gave the Magic a lead they would never give up. The rest of the Magic joined in the party as the game went on, including a Suggs pass getting deflected back to him and laying it in right after. Major shoutout to Prime for bringing in the Hornets commentary team for this game, they are elite and make these games even better. This game was close until that crazy run by Bane, at that point, Heat could never get back into it. Sorry Norm, today was not your day. Very cool to see the Magic performing so well.
