Best play-in ever. What a way to start the playoffs! An incredible back and forth game ends with Charlotte giving Miami their first ever play-in loss in electrifying fashion. The Heat forced Charlotte into unfamiliar territory by making them play a close game and it didn’t matter. The vibes and shooting were too strong to stop. This game was close all the way through, neither team ever held a double digit lead. Thanks to gutsy shooting and timely makes, it only took a couple shots to flip this game on its head. It really ramped up down the stretch. Coby White absolutely took over and started hitting everything, including an insane fadeaway shot to tie the game and send it to overtime. Overtime kept up the same intensity and beautiful play all the way until that crazy end sequence. Ball drains a crazy layup and Miles Bridges with the chase down to win it in the final seconds. An absolutely insane sequence to end a ludicrous game. Coby White got them to OT, but Ball won them the game.

A genuinely elite game. Threes didn't really fall for the hornets at some times and at others they couldn't miss. It was close the whole time. Coby fuckin white with an insane shot to force OT and lamelo walks it off.

The back and forth clutch shots was insane, usually these games are so boring but we finally got a good play-in game. I’m so happy.

What a finish. The white three at the end of OT. Herro’s corner shot. Lamelo’s drive to the rim to win it. Absolute fucking banger to start the NBA playoffs. And of course, fuck amazon prime. Technical difficulties with 30 seconds left like wtf. Anyways, that shouldn’t take away from the fact that this was maybe the best NBA game this season. Now that player of the game chain that Lamelo got was sick as hell, but besides a car, I think another chain is the last thing lamelo needs 😭

ABSOLUTE CINEMA. Instant Classic Charlotte was down 114-111 with almost no time left, and then Coby White drills a huge 3 with 12 seconds left to tie it and completely blow the roof off the arena. He’s been red hot all game. Miami had the last shot in regulation, but Herro’s 3 came up short, so after all that chaos it goes to OT tied 114-114. OT somehow got even crazier. Herro started cooking late and scored Miami’s last 6 points, which gave the Heat a 126-125 lead and really made it feel like after all that Charlotte was still about to lose anyway. Then LaMelo gets his moment. With 4.7 seconds left he gets to the rim and lays it in to give Charlotte a 127-126 lead. Davion Mitchell gets a shot off but Bridges blocks it and send the Hornets to the next game in the play in. Absolutely insane game
