This series ends exactly how we all expected it to: the Jarrett Allen game (and the Cavs beating Toronto in Ohio with a strong 2nd half). I said that Toronto couldn’t afford going cold in the 4th quarter. So they instead went ice cold in the 3rd instead. The Raptors played really well in the 1st half. I actually thought they were the better team and a couple hot streaks away from being up double digits on Cleveland at halftime. It all fell apart in the 2nd half when Cleveland went on that 9-0 run 3 minutes in. Scottie nearly fouling out before the end of the 3rd was the fatal blow, we’re a different team without him and that team can’t win.
Ngl, losing like this stings big time. I could feel a pool of frustration boiling inside me throughout the 2nd half. Even though that pain exists, I can’t be mad. I’m proud of the boys. Scottie has proven he is a superstar. CMB really showed out in the playoffs and looks like a brilliant pick. JaKobe and Mamu broke out. Optimism is back in the air

The better team finally won, but it took them 7 games because darko outcoached the hell out of them, like genuinely ran circles around them from game 3 all the way to the 3rd quarter of game 7. Raps poised for an incredible next season if they can drill their guys to hit free throws, pick up rebounds, and grab a jakob replacement in the offseason. In terms of cleveland, theyre gonna go through hell all over again against detroit whos just as physical and twice as big as the raps team with comparable shooting, detroit will handedly win that series as the only thing keeping these cavs alive through the first round was don mitch’s willpower on the offensive end
Given what we were supposed to be, im sure every raps fan will agree this season was a success.

The Jarrett Allen game. Only the 2nd player all season to record a double double in a single quarter (3rd). Cavs had this one after that 9-0 run in the 3rd. Raps put up much more of a fight than I expected. Been a tough stretch since that 2019 Championship run. Scottie Barnes needs help!
