FINALLY, it is not a total blowout. This is also a massive statement win. I think I can officially confirm that Orlando took all the ‘dissapointing’ talk personally because they have been rolling ever since losing to Philly. They have shown off the potential everyone knew they had coming into this season. They waved their wand right away and cast a spell on their opponents. The spell made Detroit’s ineffective and it affected every Piston except Cade Cunningham. Despite Cade’s valiant effort, he couldn’t will his team to victory. Even though Detroit managed to repeatedly cut into the Magic’s lead, they could never fully close the gap and the Magic always found a way to take the lead back. The defense deserves the lion’s share of the credit for this game, but it would be unfair of me to not credit the offense Orland desperately needed to pull away each time. Banchero, Wagner and Carter jr all had 15+ points and 5+ rebounds. All vital in offsetting Bane and Suggs’s shooting struggles.

A wide open layup for the pistons AND THEY MISSED IT! Cade had 39 in the loss and my perfect playoff picks streak is over I'm now 6/7.. 7.0/10 the game was the best playoff game yet somehow

This one kinda shocked me. Detroit was a team I thought might surprise some, but instead Orlando takes the first one. Big win for the Magic, I have faith Detroit will take G2.

The O-Town takes over Motown with a 112-101 win on the road. The Magic led by Paolo Banchero’s 23 points held off Cade Cunningham’s 39 point game. The Magic have continued their momentum from the Play In and have taken a game off Detroit. Game 2 is on Wednesday at 7:00. GO MAGIC

Lots of back and forth huge runs in the second half concluding in a pretty disappointing pistons game 1, cade had near 40 but this team really is just cade and friends

Guys, I have a thought. I think that this upset was unexpected. I don't know how I'm gonna get 500 characters on this rating, but I'll try. Magic got ems that Mario Kart rocket start. Absolute belt to ****ing *** at the start of this game. However, they then had a sugar crash and da Pistons caught up near the end of the first. The Magic then got a power play early in the first half so they got a home run. (iykyk) But then, the Pistons exist. And so do the Magic. It was a pretty nasty duel betwee(hey 500 characters)en them towards the run down to the 4th quarter. However, once the 4th quarter started, the Magic kinda ran away with it. And the game was over. Pistons in 7 if the Magic can hang like this all series. paolo gonna be spitting horrid bars in the tunnel 🗣🗣🗣

Wow the 8-seeded Magic get a shock win over the 1-seeded Pistons to take the 1-0 lead in the series. Unfortunately the Pistons will probably wake up and win the next 4 games.

Wow so thats interesting. Silver was a troll with this playoff schedule because no one is watching the 7-2 and 8-1 matchups like that. I was expecting all blowouts. I think 3 of the 4 will be. This one was the one that was not as you can see. And Im shocked the Pistons lost this. Maybe they lose a game in the series sure but THE FIRST GAME. Thats crazy work. They played really bad and the Magic just played normal Magic ball. This series could get chippy later on but Im shocked the Pistons didnt win this. Very embarrassing. But hey at least there was a good NBA game today

Wasn’t expecting a win this game but we got it. It was cool to see. Just wish we’d taken the series.

This was the best that the Magic have looked all year, but the Pistons looked visibly out of their element

This was a good game. I love upsets and this was definitely an upset. The Magic came to play. They played much better in this game than they did in the play in games. This game was basically Cade vs the Magic. Cade went off but that was it for the pistons. Great win for the Magic.
