If you told me that Deandre Ayton was actually 3 kids in a trench coat standing on each others shoulders I wouldn't believe you because even they would be better at rebounding than the actual Deandre Ayton. Austin Reaves doing his best Revenant impression with Leo sitting court side. Flailing in the lane like he's fighting for his life after a bear attack. Meanwhile Rui is shooting like 87% from 3 and JJ Reddick is going full Kylo Ren with the red forehead screaming "MORE!!!!!" And last but certainly not least we have the leading scorer in the NBA this year humbling us all with his presence on the bench where throughout the game he made absolutely sure to demonstrate his perfectly functionings hamstrings as he repeatedly rose from his seated position to complain about no calls for his teammates as if it was a Pavlovian reflex. Shoutout to Marcus Smart. Consistently the only dude who at least gave the appearance and affect of desperation. Buncha cowards out in LA LA land.

my god if lebron and austin reaves could stop complaining and whining and play defense maybe the lakers would have a chance. another shaky first half performance but a huge step up in the 2nd. started forcing turnovers and shooting a lot better in the 3rd quarter. ajay mitchell continues to be the best contract in the nba
