This game was hard to watch not only because the Spurs lost but because it was overall a very slow and boring game, that 3rd quarter had me wanting to pluck my eyes out these refs are drunk idiots! but I have to admit the thunder were on last night and we weren't that's a part of the reason we lost but it just sucks that most of the game was at the free throw line mostly for the thunder in that 3rd quarter but even for the spurs the only difference being the spurs free throws were legit 95% of the time and they were just giving the thunder free throws at least 50% of the thunder free throws shouldn't have happened the fouls were ridiculous 0.8/10 wtf Edit: yes I know the thunder bench played good that didn't make up for this shit show

The Thunder impose their will in a big win that really changes the complexion of this series and probably ratcheted up the distaste for OKC’s playstyle. This game started just about as well as it possibly could for San Antonio. Back in their house, the Spurs built up a 15-0 lead in just the first few minutes. It culminated in a block on SGA and a 3 from Vassell shortly after. The arena was rocking; everyone knew the Spurs had just landed a haymaker.
From that point on to the end of the game, OKC outscored the Spurs 123-93. On one hand, it’s incredible resilience from the Thunder to be able to get back into the game quickly and have a tight grip on the game the rest of the way. On the other hand, SGA had a performance that lived up to even the most pessimistic interpretations of his play-style. As someone who HATED watching Prime Harden, I do not like watching this Shai when I know he could be better (ethically, of course). McCain had his best game and the other J-Dub was great too.

I’m rooting for SAS but damn OKC is good. SAS came out hot but OKC’s bench and defense went crazy in the second and third quarters. Every time the Spurs went on a run in the second half OKC had an answer and some. I’m really interested to see how the Spurs counter OKC’s defense on Wemby in game 4.
