Absolute belt. Spurs needed this one badly, can’t go back to Oklahoma City down 3-1. We are all expecting this one to go 7 and the way the Spurs dominated in this one they showed they’re not going down without a fight, and I don’t think they’re going down at all. Give me the Spurs in 7 baby. Stephon Castle is an absolute stud, better than SGA I’ll be honest with you, Stephon Castle for Finals MVP!!!

Crucial and dominant win for the Spurs in a performance that was not pretty, but effective. San Antonio was like a massive python. They wrapped themselves around OKC, squeezed as hard as they could and waited until OKC’s lifeless corpse collapsed. Except rather than skillfully consuming their prey, the python repeatedly overestimated which parts it could consume before finally finding the right spot, devouring their prey and officially winning the battle. ‘Finding the spot’ in this case was that Wemby halfcourt shot to end the first half. It firmly put the ball in San Antonio’s court and OKC couldn’t take it back. OKC was lifeless throughout most of the 2nd half and the Spurs eventually feasted on their corpse. The defense was phenomenal while their offense was good enough to make this a blowout. You could call this game sloppy, but you could also call it good old-fashioned physical basketball. Wemby having a great game is sick af, so I’m leaning towards the latter. Series is tied.

The game was never really close or competitive as spurs had the lead and kept it. Its interesting that their adjustment was staying home on other guys and letting shai be the one scoring or playmaking instead without him being doubled as aggressively as before. Since jdubz is injured, okc has a very limited system enforcers so it actually works really well. I wonder how okc is gonna adjust. Watching castle and wemby is honestly so aesthetically pleasing, and they really came to play.

It was just the Spurs game end to end. Wemby was just on another level tonight and the Thunder could not catch up. In other news WEMBY HALF COURT BUZZER BEATER? WHAT THE FU- I was watching this but after the third quarter I needed sleep and I knew the Spurs were going to win it. This is one of the things I hate about the award announcements because they could have at least done it towards the finals because if they saw SGA play like THIS when they desperately needed a win in the WCF? Wemby's winning MVP no diff.
