WE ARE PARTYING LIKE IT IS 1999! Thank god game 7 of this series was a great one. The Spurs and Wemby achieve exactly what they said they wanted to all season long: to be the man, you gotta beat the man. They did it while achieving revenge on Chet for Wemby. They have become what the Timberwolves are to the Nuggets with the Thunder. They did it with relentless defense, clutch 3s and gutsy rebounding. Starting with the defense, outside of Shai both on and off the free throw line, OKC got shut down. Chet had 2 shots, Caruso went 3/14 and you could see the real fear of Wemby in the paint down the stretch. Despite all that, I truly believe the dagger was Luke Kornet’s chase down block on Hartenstein, an incredible play that sent shockwaves through OKC’s arena.
Now the 3s, it felt like the Spurs couldn’t miss. OKC never truly went away until San Antonio hit them with dagger after dagger while grabbing seemingly every rebound on the few 3s they didn’t hit. The Spurs earned this victory.

LETS GO WEMBY FINALLY GETS THE MVP HE DESERVES AND THE SPURS ARE GOING TO THE NBA FINALS 🥳 Bro wembys gonna have such a crazy career if he's already winning unanimous dpoy and WCF MVP and more than likely Finals MVP!, I'm so glad the thunder are out if this tournament I've been waiting to see there downfall! And lucky for me it was my team that was the one to take them down!

Embarrassing finish by the Thunder. SGA and then Caruso completely airball and then Wallace with a brick to end it. The San Antonio Spurs deserved to win this series and they did. And now they’ll win the finals.
