Absolutely wild. This was a 2 point game at half. Then all of a sudden it was 91-69 Cavs in the 4th quarter with only 7:40 left. Then all of a sudden the Knicks went on a 25-6 run to make it 99-96 with a minute remaining. The second half was just a game of runs and who was hot when. And the Knicks were hot at the right time. Still wondering how the hell that tying shot from Landry Shamet fell. And how is it Sam Merrill taking that shot for Cleveland and not Donovan Mitchell? Either way I’m still shocked it didn’t fall. Crazy way to send it to OT.
But then in overtime, it was all Knicks. Brunson started cooking up. The Knicks scored 9 before the Cavaliers even realized they were in overtime of a playoff game. Turnovers just killed the Cavs, couldn’t get anything going on offense because they kept losing control of the ball. Legendary comeback, legendary choke, and a legendary game. Two straight bangers to start the Conference Finals. One of the best comebacks in basketball history.

KNICKS COME BACK!!!
Second OT game in back to back nights. Knicks come back 22 points in just 8 minutes led by Brunson with some insane shot making down the stretch one-on-one. Craziest playoff comeback I’ve seen in a while to take Game 1 at MSG.
Harden and Mitchell cool down in OT and the Knicks continued their momentum to seal the win.
What a way to start the Conference Finals
