Then all of a sudden the Knicks went on a 25-6 run to make it 99-96 with a minute remaining. The second half was just a game of runs and who was hot when. And the Knicks were hot at the right time. Still wondering how the hell that tying shot from Landry Shamet fell. And how is it Sam Merrill taking that shot for Cleveland and not Donovan Mitchell? Either way I’m still shocked it didn’t fall. Crazy way to send it to OT. But then in overtime, it was all Knicks. Brunson started cooking up. The Knicks scored 9 before the Cavaliers even realized they were in overtime of a playoff game. Turnovers just killed the Cavs, couldn’t get anything going on offense because they kept losing control of the ball. Legendary comeback, legendary choke, and a legendary game. Two straight bangers to start the Conference Finals. One of the best comebacks in basketball history.”
