I can officially say it with confidence: the New York Knicks are going to the NBA finals. I know it’s not official and the Cavs could win game 4, but after watching this game, I have 0 faith in the Cavs and am much more confident they will be swept.
This game ironically started much worse than the games in New York did for the Cavs. The Knicks came out white hot, shooting the lights out, nearly putting up 40 and ending the 1st quarter up 10. From that point on, Cleveland just couldn’t overcome that deficit. They never lead at any point and it’s easy to figure out why. It’s hard to blame any 1 player as the Cavs’ offense did not have bad game, including the ever-volatile and whiny James Harden. But they couldn’t stop the Knicks whatsoever. The Cavs laid down and died in the 4th. Bridges was clinical and Brunson was excellent once again. The Knicks can taste the finals. Meanwhile the Cavs look broken and demoralized. I just wish this game hadn’t been a blowout from the onset.

You can go back to my review on Game 1, I put a little bit of a comedic flair in it, not knowing how much it would ruin the Cavaliers. Just a terrible showing from them. I think it would be nice, although syncophantic to @nick, to say that this is the best Knicks team we have seen in forever. Just domination of opponents during the playoffs. If THAT team doesnt get their act together, maybe NY could be the champions? I don't know, it's been a long time since they've been this close. Congrats to Shaqir O'Neal for graduating!

In one month I have seen the Knicks undergo a complete metamorphosis. They have emerged from their regular season cocoon as an absolute basketball juggernaut. There’s not a single weakness in this team other than they win so much and so convincingly that they don’t have any opportunities to play in close games. That’s the only thing I can think of.
1 more win from the NBA FINALS.

10 wins in a row. This one felt special because it was and this was when everybody knew that the Knicks were going to sweep the Cavs. The Knicks jumped out to an early lead and while the Cavs were able to bounce back and put up a retaliation in the 2nd the Knicks just had more gas in the tank as thr Cavs sputtered to the finish line. #BroomDay
