To witness this in New York City is something I’ll always remember. We were DEAD. I was like Mollie let’s go home I don’t wanna watch this. Then we chip away. But not like you would expect. A little here a little there. I was not convinced until the 4th. The 4th quarter was the craziest basketball I’ve ever seen. Team of destiny man. Holy shit.

OG ANUNOBY WITH THE CRAZIEST PUTBACK I’VE SEEN SINCE DERRICK WHITE AGAINST THE HEAT ALL BUT WINS THE SERIES FOR THE KNICKS. ABSOLUTE BEDLAM AT THE GARDEN! BIGGEST CHOKE IN BASKETBALL HISTORY! AND ONE MORE THING- HOW THE HELL IS THE BALL NOT IN VICTOR WEMBANYAMA'S HANDS AT THE END? YOU'RE GONNA HAVE STEPHON CASTLE CUT TO THE RIM INSTEAD OF THE GUY WHO IS 7 FOOT 5 INCHES TALL????? We really just blew a 29 point lead. I think I’m gonna personally blow up San Antonio.

The biggest single-game comeback in NBA finals history, unbelievable. Looks like they learned something from the 2025 Pacers. I was so ready to call this easily the worst game of these finals, but clearly we’re not allowed to have boring Finals games in the year of our lord 2026. Wemby and Vassell having more points together than the entire Knicks team in the 1st seemed like a sign of things to come. Then, the Knicks showed life in the 3rd quarter and actually made it close in the 4th. It got to a point that the comeback felt inevitable, but clearly that wasn’t enough drama so Hart had to miss a layup and Brunson had to go cold. Luckily, they have OG FREAKING ANUNOBY to save the day After game 3 I lamented that maybe the best game of OG’s career was wasted on a loss. Fortunately, OG just had the greatest game of his life in a win that all but guarantees a Knicks championship in the near future. Not only was he the best scorer for the Knicks, he gets a clutch block and bucket to win it

I don’t even know what to say. I’m blown away at what I just witnessed with my own eyes. I have little to no idea of what it comes to understanding what just occurred. OG is nothing but a legend. New York City will die for that man. I think he’s pretty cool. I just, I just wish I knew what to say. New York, man. I’m just gonna say what comes to mind. What the hell was that? Brunson, almost sold, thankfully San Antonio wasn’t buying. KAT, he’s a hero. Josh Hart almost threw it away. But I feel so bad for the people of San Antonio. I don’t feel bad for the Spurs organization at all. I want everyone in San Antonio to know they’re in my hearts today, the first thing I thought about was those people. I truly imagine this could kill somebody. It’s good that New York is getting out, they need this energy cause they don’t get it during the NFL. I’m just spewing nonsense. I’m just shook. I don’t even know how to define what I just saw. Wow. Oh my God.

Are you kidding me? The GREATEST comeback in NBA history. The NBA just had their 28-3. Spurs took their foot off the gas and somehow, someway, the Knicks made it happen. As resilient of a group as there’s ever been. Age has been a huge factor in this series. Mitch Johnson was disasterous in his leadership role in not getting control of his guys, slowing things down and making the game simple. De’Aaron Fox with an ALL TIME horrible shot where he could have ran the clock down, and instead OG Anunoby gets a historic block. Brunson dragging Wemby out of the paint was massive. Drew Castle toward KAT and OG with the perfect crash and putback. Just perfectly executed. So smart of Brunson to put the shot up early enough to allow that to happen. AN ALL TIME BASKETBALL GAME. LFGK!
