Great win for the Valkyries, as the Tempo had NO answers for the amazing defense shown by the Valkyries (Mabrey was COMPLETELY clamped by amazing defense from Charles).

The Valkyries just keep winning. Golden State made life difficult for Mabrey tonight. Salaün and Chen off the bench were the top scorers for the Valkyries. Fun game.

It got a bit dicey for the Valkyries going into the 4th quarter, but they were able to pull away and get the nice road win!

The Valkyries just can’t stop winning. The Tempo are a scrappy bunch, but there was only so much they could do. It started out as a slugfest, looked like a true battle that would go to the end, only for the Valkyries to snuff out that dream quickly in the 4th quarter. That 1 quarter was… interesting. The game starting with back-to-back turnovers said everything. Both teams took a while to adjust to the game, or at least find themselves. Golden State proved that with a 10-0 run to start the 2nd. They eventually parlayed that into a double digit lead. Toronto looked helpless, I certainly thought they were toast. Fortunately they stormed back and didn’t need Mabrey to do it. Instead it was Isabelle Harrison leading the charge. Tempo set us up for an awesome 4th quarter. Sadly the Valkyries restored order. Another hot start killed us, this time it was 12-0 and we never recovered. Although the final score may make you think it was kind of close, trust me, it wasn’t by the end.
