It is important I remember that preseason needs to be taken with a grain of salt… but guys, Parekh looks GOOD. Especially as the power play quarterback. Along with him, Gridin showed a ton of promise, Kerins was very productive while Honzek and Brzustewicz showed flashes of their potential. On top of all that, Wolf, Zary and Coronato look like they haven’t lost a step. But my optimism aside, this game was one-sided. Flames could’ve easily won this 6-1 if not for some good goaltending. Can’t expect much more from preseason. Although the feistiness at the end was a pleasant surprise.
