Feels a little disingenuous to rate this since I only saw the second period and it's the only complete period of hockey that I've ever seen in my life, but this was kinda cool? Definitely looking to give this more of a go as the season goes on.

First game of the Dan Muse era. Rangers were flat. Goalie played well. Rookies played well.

Nice to know the Rangers haven’t changed. Igor did all he could but the Rangers couldn’t support him. Meanwhile the Penguins were led by the goal scoring prowess of… Justin Brazeau. But alongside him Crosby continued to defy Father Time while Malkin made a nice gritty play to help the Penguins break the deadlock. Certainly not a pretty game to watch, but the Penguins are surely happy with a dub. Especially with a Silovs shutout. Massive improvement compared to his first start a year ago.
