Absolutely invested into this game. For starters, the Devils had great offense and a pretty promising defense as well. Jake Allen looked great, and made some great stops. But the main point, Jack Hughes played an amazing game and had his third career hat trick. It is good witnessing this amount of potential this early in the 25-26 season, and I’m all up for it so far.

It's alright. Not a great game, but not a bad one either. Some decent movement and play the whole game, with a few goals on each side, so not a shut-out, some actual contention over who might win. No spectacular plays, but enough action to keep me watching instead of skipping to the next period/end.
Bonus points to the stadium DJ who played "Hips Don't Lie" by Shakira after a little dustup (🎵No fighting!Shakira, Shakira🎵)
