Martin Necas loves the number 8. He obviously wears #88. He signed for 8 years and scored his 8th goal of the season. The only way this could’ve been better of him is if he had helped Colorado secure their 8th win of the season. Besides Necas, Cale Makar is still insane and I will forever be jealous that the Avs have him. Old man Brent Burns also got a goal and Wedgewood was rock solid, helped Colorado prevent a Vegas comeback. As a fan of the team that owns Vegas’s pick, I appreciate that, any loss helps. Box score gave Shea Theodore a -1, but I thought he played a good game, even defensively. Besides that, nobody played really dreadfully, they just got outworked and outplayed by the Avs early and they couldn’t recover. Simple as that. Fun, but simple.
