Well, this is now one of my least favourite games of the season, just for that 1st period alone. Instead of playing good to start and then getting our asses kicked after, the Flames decided to switch it up and put ourselves in a hole thanks some poor defense, contribute to Wolf getting pulled. Can’t even say the goalies got peppered as we actually outshot the Predators in every period. The 2nd period was bland, but they did try to make the comeback in the 3rd thanks to both Huby and Farabee, but it was too little too late. Now, trying to be positive, Coleman, Kadri and Huby played well enough to at least not hurt their trade value. Meanwhile Honzek continues to earn my heart with his efforts.

Honestly only watched the first period since I had work but that’s all I had to watch I guess cause the scored three goals, one of which was a power play goal! But once I was at work, I saw that late in the third period it was 3-2. And I was like WTF!?!? But THANKFULLY they scored an empty netter to seal a 4-2 win. That apparently was more difficult than it shoulda been. Cause the Flames are STRUGGLING for offense right now. And we can’t lose AT HOME to a struggling team offensively. But we will see what goes on Monday against Vancouver. Then Tuesday IN MINNESOTA against a DESPERATE Wild team.
