Was close many times throughout the game, but the Mercury ran away with it late in the 4th

This game was close at times, but Connecticut can only win so many games. The Mercury win a good one thanks to a season high 21 points from DeWanna Bonner!

A low-scoring affair that really had no drama. DeWanna Bonner had 21 points and 6 rebounds with copper chipping in18 points. Brittany Griner had 19 points. Both teams were pretty bad from the three point line. Somewhat of a forgettable game.

Always love having BG back! Definitely Connecticut’s biggest co-contributor in conjunction with Nelson-Ododa’s game-high work on the glass, but the Sun had far too many lapses of just not paying attention to simple back door cuts or limiting turnovers against a team of their caliber. Thomas only 3 points shy of a double-double. No sign of perimeter play in this one.
