Heartbreaker of a loss but looked good when they scored the second and third goal but then the wheels fell off. But hey, they scored 4 on Oettinger. So that’s good ig.

During the 3rd period, the broadcast I was watching showed a stat graphic that displayed how the Stars had the lowest shot attempts per game in the entire NHL. But they also lead the entire NHL in shots from the slot. This game showed exactly why that is, prioritizing shot quality and it worked. Didn’t look like it would work for a bit. Stamkos scored a sweet power play goal to put the Predators up with less than 15 minutes to go. But all it took was some good clean passes and some scrambling in front of Annunen to set up the tying and winning goal. Oettinger was uncharacteristically bad, but luckily the Stars are stacked with scoring depth and they have Miro, bless him.
