Valkyries have a bad second half and get dominated during the closing hours. Makes sense for no free throws in 28 minutes. Mystics get ahead and end a 9-game winning streak with Iriafen, 23 PTS on 8-12 shooting. It was a career night for Kaitlyn Chen off the bench, 20 PTS and growing to be a spectacular player.

Surprise win for the Mystics! They kept it close through the entire game until it looked like Golden State was running away with this one late!Washington wasn’t dead though, and they would answer back thanks to a cold stretch from the Valkyries for the upset! Golden State’s 9 game winning streak comes to a close!

Mystics capitalize on poor defense by the normally from what I understand Very strong Valkyries (I'm not a resident Wnba ball knower) but their win streak is broken and the mystics are the ones to break the spell.

I didn’t expect the Valkyries 9-game won steak to come to end at the hands of the Mystics. Golden State’s defense allowed Washington to shoot over 50%. That doesn’t happen too often. Kaitlyn Chen scored 20 points and tried to be that spark late, but it wasn’t enough. Iriafen and Citron were clutch late and hit shots as the Mystics pulled away late. Tough loss for Golden State.

Aces vs Mystics rating countinued. but Shakira Austin gets the rebound and makes the shot with an and one being called. 99 all. Austin makes the free throw. 100-99 Washington. Chelsea Gray takes the last shot but it rims off. Mystics win in a very close and fun matchup. The only bad part about this game is that it had to be decided by a free throw. At least it was better than a intentional foul free throw winning the game.
