7-3??? Is there something in the air that’s causing last year’s playoff teams to play like Buffalo?
Both teams in the 1st just let everything past them. Slow and open defence, mistakes that cost them pucks in their own net. Every goal in the first 20 min was either “here’s a bad deflection off someone” or “he’s alone going to the net, shoots, scores!”
I think I would’ve loved to watch this game too, would be fun to analyze in depth. Might have to find a podcast episode from each team’s perspective on this one.
