This little was a little boring, I thought this was going be another strange win for the sharks especially after being outshot 12-1 in the first, I also that wolf had a shutout before this, crazy to think that this is his first of the season, Askarov another good game for the sharks, he’s finding his grove

AWOOOOOOOOO, Dustin Wolf gets his first shutout of the season as the Flames win in dominant fashion against his hometown team. Look, idk how this happened either guys. We outshot San Jose so badly the Sharks didn’t have double digit shots until the 3rd period. Our forecheck was generating a ton of takeaways which created even more chances for us and yet we won just 2-0. On one hand, it’s a credit to Askarov keeping the Sharks in it and giving them a chance to tie it up with just 1 goal. On the other hand, it’s more proof that the Flames are horrible at finishing. On a more positive note, Kerins makes his season debut. Very deserved with how he’s balling out in the AHL. No goal sadly (you can thank the Texas Tiger for breaking the deadlock), but he looked sharp, making some really nice passes and creating multiple chances. I really think he deserves more NHL time, not like we could get much worse offensively. In classic Flames fashion, Wolf still had to bail us out in the last 2 minutes
