This one was so fun!!! Ehlers was looking so good, Aho with an absolute snipe for the winner ep40 bit so hard thinking Aho was going circle back out the zone, but he slammed on the breaks and turn back towards the net and let out a lazar! Svechnikov was so good, as well 2 goals and almost a Michigan for the hatrick, he was so close and then on that same shift he leveled someone. Lankinen was keeping Vancouver in this game, he had some massive saves to keep them in it, but the canes prevailed

Went to this one with my gf, her bff, and her bff's bf who is Canadian and a massive Canuck's fan which greatly added to the experience. The Canuck's were seriously outplayed but by god they almost snuck away with the win. Great comeback by Carolina, great winner in OT. I learned all about the Canuck's and their long history of suffering. Good times!

It feels like Aho has a knack for scoring OT winners. Out of curiosity, I looked it up. He actually has the 6th most OT goals among active players with his goal tonight, tied with Mark Schiefele and breaking his previous tie with Connor McDavid. Among the players ahead of him, only Leon has played less than 200 games more than Aho. Feel bad for Lankinen, the man played his ass off, just couldn’t hang on to the lead long enough. Shoutout to Ghost-bear, still dealing out sweet assists all these years later.
