Wow I’ve been spoiled today with ever single game going into OT, Schaffer with the OT winner! He’s a beast and has been such a beast and will continue to be a beast. That Drouin goal was very… not good, if I was an Utah fan, I’d probably be pretty mad. Gueither had a nice shot on pp and Big save Dave, Dave rittich winnipeg jets legend played fantastic

Utah should have done way better being at home. Isles are doing well now though, so I have to give them credit. But OT Utah is usually great at. May need to look at better goaltending for Utahs future.

4 NHL games tonight. All 4 went to overtime and 3 of them ended in OT, avoiding the dreaded shootout. Beautiful night of hockey. This game was fortunately one of them as a blast from Matthew Schaefer ended it. He’s just so good, like SOOOOO GOOOOOD. This game would’ve gotten a 9 had I not felt Utah was dead in the water after the Islanders tied it. I could feel the prayers coming from Mammoth fans to have Drouin’s goal be reversed, but it wasn’t meant to be. Still a very fun game, lots of big hits on top of skillful plays. Side note: Big Save Dave actually earned his nickname tonight. Made a ton of massive saves that kept the Isles ahead and really helped set up the comeback.
