When Matt Murray Seattle Karen legend went down with an injury I thought the game was over maybe even whole season?!?! But really Philipp Grubauer came in and was phenomenal and idk what’s in the water in Seattle other than the kraken jk, but they keep getting these amazing performances from there goaltenders, no matter who they start or who ends up finishing the game. So the battle of the pacific division sea creatures/monsters goes to the Kraken this game

Genuinely… how? The Sharks should’ve won this game. Key word: should’ve. Big props to Phillip Grubauer for steering the ship and keeping it steady in place of Matt Murray, but simply calling this a goaltending carry job would be an injustice. Unfair to Chandler Stephenson who made a nice play before setting up Seattle’s first goal and finished the night with 3 assists. It discredits Jaden Schwartz, who had 2 goals. It discredits Kartye who had 5 blocked shots, almost as much as all of San Jose. Finally, it discredits an impressive efforts of resilience in the wake of overwhelming pressure. I don’t want to be too dramatic so I will also add that I thought the 3rd period was kinda bland. Overall tho, great win for the Kraken.
