Big shootout win for the boys Hellybuck played fantastic to get the win, he stood his ground and held down the fort. That opening Schifelele goal was hilarious, the 2 Calgary flames crash into each other and then less than 30 seconds later the puck ends up in the back of there net! Logan Stanley continues to look actually really good and is producing offense. Cole Perfetti first of the year after being injured to start the year. When the flames scored late, if felt like they were going win and especially in OT when the flames got a power play but the boys prevailed and Valardi got the shootout winner! Now that this awful road trip is over, hopefully the jets can get back to winning, since there so good at home. Sad Lowry got injured, but he absolutely crushed Kadri in OT. Schifelele getting ejected was bs

A kinda close, mostly fun and entirely strange game. Almost every goal came off a strange circumstance. The first Jets goal happened because Backlund and Honzek ran into each other, opening a lane. Both Flames goals went off of Jets’ sticks. We had 3 goals with 33 seconds between them. The Jets goal that nearly won it for them wouldn’t have happened without a fortunate bounce after a nasty Wolf save. For most of the 3rd, I was ready to say the Jets had the pendulum swing their way pretty much all period long. Then in the final minutes, Klapka screened Hellebuyck perfectly and sets up a rebound for Coronato to bury and send this game to OT. The OT was okay, but didn’t have much tension until Calgary’s powerplay, Hellebuyck was THE reason this game was subjected to a shootout. Made even more crappy by Schiefele getting a misconduct and not being able to participate. Fortunately for the Jets (and Flames depending on your opinion), Vilardi potted home the winning attempt.
