This game was insane every time I switch to this game there were goals, both goalies kinda just took the night off, but especially Sergei Bobrovsky, that’s one of the worst games I’ve seen him play in a while only 13 saves… luckily the team in front of him are the Florida panthers so they outshot the Canucks 41-15! Bennet looked like a recking ball in the 3rd near the end there. Jones had 2 goals the first one was lowkey nasty, the whole way to net was being harassed and still managed to get the shot and goal. Marchand has bene really good, nothing can seem to ever make the panthers out of it. A Quinn Hughes 3 assist preformance wasted on a loss, I really wanna see that man play with his brothers make it happen Vancouver, save him.

WTF. I mean that genuinely and positively. The Panthers nearly tripled Vancouver’s shots and yet they needed a rally in the 3rd to take this 13 goal labour of bad goaltending. I almost forgot this was Jeff Petry’s 1000th game. How ironic for a defenseman. Side note: talk about a crappy way to start the season for Jiri Patera in his first game with the Canucks. While the Canucks didn’t get many chances, they certainly took advantage of the few they got, mainly Jake Debrusk just fighting for his goals. As for the Panthers, I’m amazed only Seth Jones had multiple goals, although Bennett was grinding his way for more goals, just without hurting a goalie this time. The weirdness and chaos factors gets this game safely out of the red but I can’t in good conscience rate a one sided war of attrition much higher. It’s like watching watching a slow, but efficient group of insects fight each other. I’d be lying if I said that wasn’t entertaining.
