The canes depth got it done, Pyotr Kochetkov played an amazing game, of what I saw he’s undefeated to start the year at 4 and 0. Taylor hall has been looking good with the canes this year and it continues as he picks up a goal and assist. Jeremy Swayman was solid for the bruins and Riley Tufte had to go ruin the shutout for Kochetkov with 13 second to go

The first period was really great, both teams were about as equal as equal could be. Then the Bruins disappeared. I’m obviously biased as a Bruins fan, but the thrill of the first period was gone for the second two. I’m just glad the Bruins managed one goal.

Disappointing play out of the Bruins. Carolina looked good but there were mistakes to be exploited and they just weren’t. An inability to stop the rush and an inability to enter the zone. That was the difference in this game. Can’t win em all. Let’s make the most of this West Coast trip coming up
