unusual defensive mistakes from the kraken lead to a tough first game back from daccord. also super clutch challenge in the second to not let this game derail too quick. we go next

The score before the empty net goal tells the story of this game better. Both teams had great chances, both teams were able to get some sustained pressure for long stretches of time in this game. Detroit was better overall at capitalizing on those chances, but I can't be disappointed in a hard fought loss. But this game is also the perfect example of how important every minute is in this game. Detroit changed the core of the game with one phenomenal 2 minute stretch.
