This game started off hilariously. Predators have this big intro, the crowd was really into it and there was plenty of hype, just for Brent Burns to score 15 seconds in, before the commentators say a word. After that, it became a goalie duel. Juuse Saros was terrific after giving up a goal on the first shot, making plenty of big saves to keep Nashville in the game and always leave the game one goal away from a tie. Even the 2 goals in the 3rd were empty netters. But the star was Mackenzie Blackwood. He stonewalled the Predators all game, never giving them a sniff of hope, even with just the 1 goal lead to work with. Just a good ass goaltending duel, gotta love it. Another example of how low amount of goals doesn’t mean it’s a bad game, this game was far from bad.

The ONLY reason why it’s above a 5 is because Juuse Saros played his heart out! He only let in ONE! AGAINST THE MOST DOMINANT TEAM IN THE NHL RIGHT NOW! AND YOU’RE TELLING ME THAT YOU COULDN’T SCORE 2 TO WIN!?!? HELL YOU COULDN’T SCORE 1 TO TIE!?!? Really heartbreaking that they had 35 shots and not one went in. No support for Saros tonight. He deserved WAY BETTER!!!!!! Let’s just hope that the old Juice is back or close to it at least.
