kraken could’ve played overtime and the shootouts much better. if we want to play defensive all game we have to close it out

This one was horrible no goals at all, except for the shootout, it was a goalie battle to be fair but idk

great game by both teams. the isles probably should have scored more, but overall a really fun game to watch

It was very clear that both teams were tired from their game last night; they each had a period-period and a half where they looked decent before looking gassed by the end of the game. Combining their endurance woes and the fact that these are two defensive minded teams, means you get a back and forth affair that gets both netminders a shutout. The Islanders deserve the win but Kraken goaltending will drag this team to points kicking and screaming if it's the last thing they do. It's not sustainable, but it's entertaining in its frustration. I just like more scoring in my hockey games. All that said, a 5/8 point road trip for the Kraken; I'm not complaining too loudly.

Actually a fun game despite this ending in a shutout shootout. Both teams were really pushing it in the end and OT especially felt like it was leaning Isles way most the time. Glad they ended it.
