Probably the most entertaining game of the nights. The Sparks looked great and we’re controlling the game and then Breanna Stewart got hot and her and Ionescu took over. Seems like the Sparks have trouble closing out games and definitely let this one slip away. The Liberty know how to get to the line and that might have been the difference tonight. Their advantage at the line was nine points. Nice win by New York.

Will give this a charitable rating because this was a lesson for the Sparks. Shooting from beyond the arc is not one of their strong suits and they definitely tried. New York wins with star players being Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu. Sparks surprisingly have the franchise record in assists today. (?) But, the New York bench is too much to handle on top of their starters. We should get something like that. All love for DeLisha Milton-Jones and her retired jersey, but Sparks are on a six-game losing skid.

Great game and an admittedly strong effort from the Sparks, but what a letdown. The Sparks got off to an amazing start before cooling down. It would be mostly back and forth after that in the first half, but they would still lead after the first half. A big Sparks run to start the third quarter would be erased by the end of the quarter, and LA would find themselves in a big hole. The Sparks trailed almost the entire fourth quarter, but they made a great push at the end of this game! Ogwumike would hit some clutch 3s in the last minute, but it was just too little too late. 6 straight losses for the Sparks
