The avs still only 1 regulation loss, there taking the central for sure and the presidents trophy as well. Jesper Wallstedt has gone absolutely insane with his best brick wall impression, he is still yet to have a regulation loss this year himself. The 17 million dollar man tucked in 2 as well and had 25 minutes of ice time which is a lot of a forward, I guess he’s proving his worth

Awesome game. It is a testament to both Wallstedt and Wedgewood that this high-octane and high shot volume game didn’t have more goals. The fact neither of those goalies were seen as the #1 going into this season makes their tremendous seasons even more impressive. Outside of the goalies, the Avs are so much fun to watch when they’re on their A-game, but the Wild aren’t too far behind in terms of entertainment value. Their second goal was so pretty to watch in real time. Speaking of that goal, Kaprizov was so nasty in this one, seemingly trying to prove he is worth of that 17M AAV extension. This game should also be shown in whatever meeting needs to happen to get rid of the shootout. I desperately wish we got more than 5 minutes of OT (mainly because I think more would’ve happened). Makar and MacKinnon were incredible as always and Landeskog even got a scrappy goal to tie it. But in the end, it was Matt Boldy who won it in the shootout, Wallstedt stopping Makar to make it official.
