The Tempo had a lead after the first quarter, but that didn’t last long. The Lynx really poured it on starting in the second. The Tempo turned it over 22 times and it’s hard to recover from that. Minnesota was able to give their bench some playing time as their line-up went 11-deep tonight. Giving your starters a break on minutes played will benefit the Lynx come playoff time. Hard to be entertained when the teams are so clearly mismatched.

I went into this game expecting the worst, got what I expected and I am still bitter about it. The Tempo had me thinking we had a shot in that first quarter. They went up 12-3 less than 4 minutes into the game and I was like “maybe we can make this a game.” The Lynx did eventually restore order, but that bank shot 3-pointer from Juskaite had me hoping. 14 points in the first quarter for her was a great start. If Mabrey could find a groove, they might make this game respectable. Unfortunately, that did not happen, not even close. Brondello put it perfectly when she called it embarrassing. It was so bad that I straight up forgot to rate it until I noticed this rating in my drafts. I’m not mad at the Tempo, frankly I think there are plenty of positives to take from their season, but I am disappointed in a game like this. The reason I can’t be mad is because the Lynx are really good. Napheesa coming back should make them a force, why did it have to be against my Tempo?

Gigantic blowout for the Lynx. We got one close quarter before Minnesota made a complete joke out of this game. This was a 9 point game at halftime, but it only got worse from there. This was a terrible game from Toronto as the Lynx handle business. I expected this game to be a big win for Minnesota, but wow
