Brayden Schenn throwback game. Schenn has his first multi-goal game of the season and both were crucial to ensuring the Blues hung on. Just like they have all season, win or lose, the Habs remain very entertaining to watch. That Lane Hutson goal was disgusting and makes me very thankful Guérin doesn’t think Hutson is good enough for team USA. Speaking of team USA snubs, Cole Caufield also scored, it could’ve been more important had the Habs not flatlined in the 2nd period and most of the 3rd. Dobes having a tough night doesn’t help. Also, if you’re curious how that Bolduc-Mailloux trade is going, Mailloux had more penalty minutes than he did shots on goal while Bolduc had an assist and was a +1. In all seriousness, this was a great game. Very much enjoyed watching this one, especially with the Blues winning, for draft pick reasons of course.

That Binington save on Caufield at the end of the game was crazy, idk how he kept that out, with his pad. Brayden Schenn played absolutely amazing he got the game winning goal, when Texier tried to interfere with Neighbours but they ended up taking them both out the play leading to a 2 on 1 for St Louis, where Holloway who also had a great game, had a perfect pass across to Schenn who buried it! Binington’s numbers weren’t good but he had some massive saves.

How did we choke this again. Were winning 2-1 after the first and of course, 26 seconds in the second period, they score and then get 2 more early on. We need to fix our effort in the second. We just can't handle it. Dobes played a pretty solid game but I think it's time to try Montembeault again. Good try from the Habs to come back late in the third but we can't keep trying to win while trailing.
