The Liberty jumped out to a big lead and kind of coasted from there. Flau’jae Johnson with another solid game against New York. She had 25 points. Natisha Hiedeman and Dominque Malonga each chipped in 17 points. It was no match for Breanna Stewart (24 points), Jonquel Jones (20 points) and Sabrina Ionescu (18 points). I thought this might be the blow out of the night, but it was somewhat competitive after the first quarter. It will be interesting to see what adjustments each team makes as these two will be back at it again on Wednesday. It sure would be nice if the Storm could get a surprise road win.

Yeah the Liberty were way better today and they ended up winning by a lot, but the Storm kind of put up a better fight than I thought they would. New York got out to a giant lead in the first quarter that they would ultimately keep through the entire game. Seattle did make them work for it though! Right before halftime, the Storm were right there and in position to make a move! They kept it pretty close through almost all of the third quarter, but the Liberty proved to be too much as they really ran away with it. Not a bad showing at all though from the Storm in a really tough road game
