Despite trading away their superstar defensemen, the Canucks have a 3-game winning streak and have only allowed 2 goals in 3 games since the trade. Demkp obviously plays a huge role in this as he has been a wall for Vancouver, but for tonight specifically, Kiefer Sherwood man. That guy just keeps finding ways to score goals and earned a hat trick for his efforts For those that don’t know Patrick Roy has no fear. He proved it during his legendary career as perhaps the best goaltender ever and he continues to prove it as a coach. Ironically, he does it by pulling the goalie. It looked like it would work, for a bit. Sherwood made sure of it. I commend Patrick Roy’s gutsiness for giving this game some much-needed drama in the 3rd period, but Vancouver manage to come away with a much-deserved win.”
