Shootout Ws are always special. Especially when they cause havoc in an already tight Atlantic division. The Habs don’t hurt too bad as they pick up the point but it still means a lot in a division that is this close

Horrible start of the game for the Habs, looking super sloppy and slow on the ice. Fowler was not into it at all, and he especially looked bad on that 4th goal. I found Nick Suzuki looked like he was back into it today, he was very noticeable. Nice comeback from the Habs to bring it into overtime but Tampa Bay played super well defensively against our top guys. Super nice performance by Slag who was everywhere tonight, with the tying goal. I also loved the details Philip Danault brought to the Habs today, like winning those faceoffs and playing on the PK.

Despite the loss, the Habs squeeze out a point in third period comeback led by Juraj KINGkovsky👑. Nikita Kucherov also capitalized on key scoring opportunities to pot a couple goals to lead lightning to the W.
