This game lacked in gripping action, but made up for it slightly with it being close on the scoreboard. The Golden Knights and Blues went back and forth, sometimes very quickly (27 seconds). St. Louis Blues, even though I’m still salty you ruined my team’s playoff chances last season, I greatly appreciate your help today against Vegas. The most anti-climactic game tying goal I’ve seen in a long time. Nobody saw it, despite it being supremely obvious, and ‘Toronto’ had to buzz the refs and be like “Hey, they scored” and that’s how Vegas tied the game. Thankfully, the Blues scored a goal in the final minutes to win it off a giveaway from Team USA selection Noah Hanifin. I do find it funny that besides Justin Faulk and Buchnevich, most of the heroes were guys playing on the bottom 6. Sundqvist scored a goal and got an assist in less than 12 minutes of ice-time. Toropchenko literally doubled his assist and goal total this season in just 13 minutes. Maybe these guys need more ice-time.
