The losing streak continues for the Seattle Storm. It looked like they might makes things interesting in the fourth quarter, but the Fire answered back and put the game out of reach. It was strange that Hiedeman took only four shots. She didn’t shoot much last game either. Bridget Carleton led the Fire with 24 points. Nyadiew Puigcerdà was right behind her with 19 points. It felt like this was Portland’s game most of the way. They shot well, hitting over 50% of their shots and controlled the boards. Nice win for the Fire.

Seattle just can’t buy a win! The Storm played a really great game and they kept it very close, but the Fire were able to hold on! The entire first quarter was some great back and forth action! Unfortunately for the Storm, Portland would be the better team for the rest of the game! The Fire wouldn’t trail for the last half hour of this game, but Seattle still didn’t make it easy! They made some really great pushes through the rest of this contest that all came up short as Portland takes a closer win than I was expecting! The Seattle losing streak is still alive!
