Top fan take from @FlameRaptorRaven: “Part 2 of San Jose’s Florida road trip and just like they did last night, they jumped on the Lightning. That eventually led to a goal for Toffoli. Brandon Hagel clearly took that personally. He took away the puck in the neutral zone and Cirelli the set him up for a goal less than 30 seconds after the Sharks scored. The Sharks clearly have issues with Florida-men because the animosity from the Panthers game carried over. Sadly, no goalie fight. This game was so fast that the commentators couldn’t stop pointing it out. It would be up to these teams to decide if the pace would be fast or really fast. In the 1st, it went back and forth, in the 2nd, the Lightning refused to be pushed around. Cirelli and Guentzel scored 3 minutes in. The Lightning refused to let the Sharks dictate their play. They remained composed and direct. Sure, the Sharks got more shots, but the Lightning got their great chances. Hagel was an absolute demon and Cirelli looked like Deadshot with his precision passes.”
