Stadium Series and it was fantastic! Only issue with this edition was the lame jerseys. However, this game’s high quality more than makes up for it. At first, this looked like a blowout. After Hagel scored the fastest outdoor goal ever, Boston went storm chasing and jumped to a 5-1 lead. My personal favourite was their 4th goal. Kastelic protected the puck from Hedman to set up Poitras for nasty back hand. Everything changed halfway through. WE GOT A GOALIE FIGHT: Swayman vs Vasilevsky. The first ever outdoor goalie fight. That fight, and the Bruins’ penalties that followed it, allowed the Lightning to storm back, led by Kucherov who scored the tying goal in the 3rd period, turning this game into an all-time classic. That comeback gave us OT and Kucherov continued wreaking havoc, even drew a penalty, which Boston killed off. Swayman came up huge repeatedly in OT and sent us to a shootout. Guentzel finally solved Swayman and Pasta hit the bar to win. Tampa’s first 4 goal comeback ever.

GAME OF THE YEAR CONTENDER. Boston basically handed this game to TB in the 2nd period with the absurd amount of penalties I mean really?? 3 guys in the box? TBL is just the type of team that will eat you alive with those mistakes. I’m at the point of the season as a Panthers fan where I stopped rooting for Boston and Buffalo to lose since we just won’t be in the playoffs but this was just a perfect game as a HOCKEY fan. Extra points for goalie fight. 9.8 BANGGG

OMG LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST GAMES I HAVE EVER ATTENDED
Firstly the atmosphere unmatched dude, everyone was absolutely pumped up, and it felt like a bolts playoff game on steroids.
From being down 5 to 1 honestly thinking the game was over, and clawing our way back to bring it to overtime and to the shootout, WHAT A GAME. Not to mention the amount of fights dude the goalie fight was insane I lost my mind during that fight.
Not to mention it being freaking freezing in Florida, it was something straight out of a magical story.

This game sure lived up to the spectacle of an outdoor game! Hagel would get the Lightning going 11 seconds in with the earliest goal in outdoor game history, but it was seemingly all Boston after that! The Bruins looked like they were on another level as they scored 5 straight and had all of the momentum until the parade to the penalty box started! Boston gave Tampa enough power plays to score 3 and make it a 1 goal game with 20 minutes left! Kucherov would snipe top shelf to tie it up and overtime wasn’t enough so we were going into the 3rd shootout in outdoor game history! Guentzel was the hero and gives the Lightning their first ever comeback win when down by 4 goals!

Now that was really just as fun as it gets. I enjoyed the silly pirate theme. I definitely enjoyed all the penalties and especially the goalie fight. I mean who doesn’t love that? And the comeback by Lightning was just the icing along with a fun OT and that ended in a SO. Great game. I hope more Stadium series follow suit in making it like this.

Best stadium series games of all time!!! We witnessed a second goalie fight in less than 2 weeks and the NHL even posted it on its Instagram. Huge comeback by the Lightning in shoutout after being down 5-1. Crazy atmosphere in Tampa, huge success. Love the costumes of patriots the Bruins were wearing and the football outfits Tampa was wearing when arriving at the stadium. I also really loved the jersey matchup between the two teams. It was so sty, especially with the goalie gear of both goalies.

WHAT A GAME! Lightning score within the first minute, bruins proceed to go on a 5 goal run to make it 5-1, then the lightning go on another run to tie it up off of a Nikita Kucherov goal. Nothing in OT, and it all comes down to the last shot for each team in the shootout. Guentzel comes up huge and Pasternak just misses. Amazing stadium series game
