Top fan take from @FlameRaptorRaven: “The best and most succinct way I can put how I felt while watching this game is like this: I was actively trying to go to sleep so I wouldn’t have to watch. Unfortunately it didn’t work until there was about 10 minutes left in the 3rd period. This game was ugly in pretty much every way for Calgary. Credit to Dallas, they took it to us and this loss puts us 1 step closer to getting our first top 3 pick ever so I can definitely live with that. The problem is we couldn’t stop deflected shots. That problem extended to both our goalies and defensemen. Every single one except Parekh, ironically, couldn’t stop any Stars forward from tipping or deflecting a shot by Wolf or Cooley. This game could’ve been 10-1 had the Stars not shown mercy. Speaking of Parekh, this was another good game for him. His passes are on-point, the other skaters just need to be ready for them, another reason why Parekh needs to play every game unless he’s hurt. Shoutout Sam Steel, elite name and an elite game from him.”
