This was a great game for the majority of the time, but the Wings were able to make this one less competitive at the end. Indiana would have an early solid lead that lasted through the first quarter, but the middle 20 minutes were awesome! There was some really fun back and forth action where these teams were going shot for shot! I was hoping that this would lead to a a great end, but Dallas really started to pull away. This was still a very fun game, but I just wish it had a closer finish. Really strong win for the Wings

Close at first, but all it took was a run late in the 3rd to lock up the victory. Indiana fought, yet they couldn’t close the gap significantly. This was supposed to be a Caitlin Clark-Paige Bueckers matchup, instead we got a Kelsey Mitchell-Jessica Shepard duel at first. They each had 20+ points in the first half. They appeared evenly matched and someone would have to step up and be the difference. Ogunbowale was the difference. She put up nearly 30 in the 2nd half alone and ensured that Dallas got that hot run they needed and maintained the lead it gave them. You gotta feel for Kelsey. 37 points, with 15 free throws yes, nevertheless, she was incredible in this game and keeping Indiana in it despite CC’s struggles. Paige couldn’t find her groove either. The key difference was her team had more than one spark plug to make up for it. Although this was close at first, I never felt like Indiana had a chance in the 4th quarter because of bad shooting from both sides and Wings’ rebounding.

I wish I could have caught this one, but was busy all night. The highlights of the game finally look like this team did before the All Star Break. I have been saying for a while now that Jessica Shepard is the X-factor of this team! Arike had a great game and Bueckers was solid as always, but Shepard adds rebounding and scoring inside that this team hasn't found in anyone else. If the Wings advance deep it will be behind great play from Shepard. As for the Fever really wasn't a bad game, but the bench really was weak for them tonight. They gotta have more scoring off the bench to beat the upper tier teams in the WNBA right now.

That was a fun game. Great first half with Kuier’s 5 blocks and Shepard 22 points. Even better was Mitchell’s 21 points to break A’ja Wilson’s record of consecutive 20+ games. The Wings controlled the second half made enough free throws at the end to hold on for the win. It felt like the Mitchell/Shepard/Ogunbowale show as Clark and Bueckers both had off nights. Shepard cooled half in the second half and Ogunbowale took over. It was nice to see the Wings get a solid win against a good team.
