The Tempo win a great close game! The Fire controlled almost all of the first half, but Toronto would come back and make this game close for the entire rest of the night! There was some good back and forth action before the Tempo went on a run to pull away a little, but Portland came back from that to set up a finish right down to the wire! Both teams had the chance to win, and it would be Toronto holding off the Fire for the thrilling win! This was a very strong showing from a Tempo team that is already out of it!

A game of streaks and the Tempo win. An impressive win because of all the injuries they had to deal with. Marina Mabrey was out and then Brittany Sykes and Aneesha Morrow both went out with injuries. Portland jumped out to a lead, but Toronto managed to tie it at the half. The Tempo started strong in the second half and built a decent lead. Then they got stuck on 75 points for what seemed like forever. It was really just under 5 minutes. Finally started scoring again with about a minute and half left and held on for the win.
