Top fan take from @FlameRaptorRaven: “Todd McLellan was not happy with his group, but the Red Wings still pulled out a win. Martin Pospisil showed no fear and jumping into a fight after a gnarly hit on Brzustewicz. Started well for Calgary. Most importantly, Coronato and Gridin had some magic to set up Frost for the first goal. Flames immediately got caught sleeping in the 2nd and Patrick Kane made us pay with a breakaway goal. That goal moved Patrick Kane past former Flame Joe Mullen and into 3rd all-time for goals among USA-born players. That triggered a snowball effect that ended with 4 players screening Wolf to set up Seider’s goal to make it 4-2. Don’t let the shots fool you, Flames were sloppy and outworked repeatedly with a ton of bad giveaways. Coronato was one of the few bright spots, working so hard while getting so many chances. Kane was the rear show stopper though, gave the Flames plenty of fits when they gave up the puck and Seider did his fair share of damage from the blue-line and his own end-line. ”
