He became just the 2nd coach to ever do it. The other milestone on the table is Sergei Bobrovsky having the chance to officially pass Cujo in all-time wins and officially claim 7th for himself. Maurice got his milestone, Bob still had to work for his. Fortunately for Bob, he had it easy in the 1st and 2nd as it was slow, grindy lacking in action for either goalie. Exactly the kind of game the gassed and battered Panthers like this season. It worked for 2 periods with the Kraken looking helpless against it. Florida even went up 4-1 in the 3rd, making it look like they would cruise to victory. Just then, the Kraken called Cthulhu. In the span of 3 minutes, Seattle scored 3 unanswered goals to tie the game up with their devastating counter attack. The 3rd period was insane! That run gave us OT and then a shootout which Florida ironically won to avoid the collapse. ”
